We use only original candies in our freeze-drying process to be able to create these extraordinary sweets! The use of the original candy product name is for description only. We, Pogey Bait Shop, LLC, have no relationship or association with the trademark owners of the original candies companies.
The process modifies the candy, changing the texture. All the candy that we sell has been modified by the freeze drying process and we have named all of the freeze dried candy sold a different name other than the original candy manufacturer name or the original product name.
Shipping & Returns
We use USPS as our primary sources for shipping. Shipping times may vary during season and weather.
If orders are shipped with missing or incorrect information and we were not notified within 24 hours of order with an email to update the correct address. We will not issue a refund. Please make sure delivery address is correct these items can not be returned.
Once orders have been picked up by the carrier, Pogey Bait Shop, LLC is not responsible any longer for your package.
We do not accept returns. All sales are final.

Pogey Bait is a term that dates back as far as WWI & alludes to the luxury of candy that was rarely afforded to the "grunts" in the field. This supply of candy was usually sent in care packages for personal consumption of the soldier or for bartering with the local people. In some cases its was just to bring a smile to a child caught in the middle of all the chaos. Myself being a Marine, understand the term very well. So when my friend, an Air Force Veteran, and I decide to start a candy & treats company. Well, Pogey Bait Shop it had to be!
